Xiuhuangshan Hall is the first commoner family's courtyard museum of Tu family nationality in China. It is an integrated centre of sight seeing and shopping. It has the Tuchia nationality's exquisite construction style where the design is beautiful and multi-faceted. It is a perfect manifesting of traditional Tuchia nationality construction.

There is massive collection and preservation of Western Hunan area's national art of high quality goods in the hall. They are the collection from the 20 years perseverance of the mountain hall master, Chen Chuhua and Mrs. Gong Dao Xiu. The collection mainly shows the luxurious and elegant furnitures of Tuchia nationality during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

It is filled with rich content of dazzling Tuchia nationality clothing, folk clothing, folk embroidery, antique calligraphy and painting and ancient woodcarving and so on and used the family style layout as the theme.
