Qingyuan Mountain is located on the northern suburbs of Quanzhou and is also known as Beishan Mountain. It is also called Qiyun Mountain because there are wind and cloud around the peaks and the ridges. The actual measurement is only 498 meters. This mountain is famous as it is located on the north of Quancheng city.
Qingyuan Mountain is the state-level key scenery scenic spot area. It was divided into the left, right and middle peaks. The left peak is Wutai Peak, the middle peak is Qingyuan Cave and the right peak is Nantai Peak. They are commonly known as Santai. The total area occupied is 62 kilometers. The main scenery area is 3 kiolmeters from Quanzhou city.
