Black Tiger Springs Group is located on the southeast of Jinan ancient city and the east section of the moat is situated on the south part.

Along both banks of the river, Liberation Pavilion is situated on the east and flows towards the west; the length is approximately 700 meters. There are altogether 14 spring pools located here.

Among the pools, Black Tiger Spring, Jinhuquan and South Zhenzhu Spring are the most famous. This spring group has the biggest stream flows among the four big spring groups in the city.
