Thousand Buddhas Mountain Park (Qianfushan Gongyuan) was built in 1959 with a total area of 166 hectares. The east and west rows are like screens and the scenic spot is multitudinous.

In recent years, Qianfoshan Park has undergone considerable development. The peach garden was increased, the tour cable, Yingfang garden, Qineng chute, the eighteen Lohan, the sleeping Buddha, the golf course, the Goddess of Mercy garden, Da Shun Shitu garden, the theater and the Lishan waterfall.

Lishan courtyard was reconstructed and there is a newly built Chinese and Japanese friendship garden. In 1995, it was listed as one of the seven gale scenic areas in the entire province.

Qianfoshan Park is a centre that integrates the history, scenery, the Shun culture and the Buddha culture into one. The service facility is complete and it is a large scale touring paradise.
