The Jinfo Mountain scenic spot is located within the boundaries of the Nanchuan city, the Dalou section vein branches suddenly into different mountain peak on the east. The three mountains are composed by Jinfo Mountain, Baizhi Mountain and Jingba Mountain. The scenic area mountain peak level mountain fold ranges, the highest elevation of the group peak reaches 2,251 meters with a total area of 1,300 square kilometers. The virgin forest occupies 1/3 and the tour region is 264 square kilometers.
The Jinfo Mountain melts the mountain, the water, the forest, the stone, the cave look imposing with complex terrain, strange lofty stone, cavern, mountain, spring densely covered, the fine wood and wonderful flower wildly spread and certainly the dangerous scenic area characteristic, making the place attractive to the tourists.
There are much rare and precious zoology and botany on the mountain, the plant reaches 5,099 types; cathaya argrophylla, the gingko, Daye tea, Fangzhu, cuckoo Wang Shushu (a country protected plant) is known by the reputation of "Five Bests on Jinshan". There are 500 types of animals including those belonging to the country grade one protected animal; the leopard, the cloud leopard, the South China Tiger, White Coronal Crane , the red abdomen angle chicken, the rhinopithecus roxellanae, the presbytis francoisi, the sika and so on.
