Xiangzhi Gorge (Xiangzhi Gou) is located in the suburbs of Guiyang. It is beautiful, mysterious and enchanting place, hence the name. The crag stood erected and tall, the rocks are jagged, the gully and the river and valley positioned vertically and horizontally. The green trees filled the land and range. The farmhouse is simple and near the water.

The old folks sitting in front of the house and the naughty children playing in the yard are as though a beautiful painting exactly like the earthly paradise described by Tao Yuanming. Standing at the 12 Dock is Wang Hillock where you can a panoramic view of the beautiful mountain and water. The nine brooks and 18 gorges joined into a clear water river like silver brocade belt circles in the ravine.

The blue sky and the green hill enhance each other and the willow tree and the safflower alternate with them. The green vine hangs down the cliff. The dry cane entangles the old tree, relying on one another.

The towering ancient trees, the cuckoo sounds and the waterfall flows to the bottom and splashes like crystal bead are like a scenery picture scroll. It forms a surrounding area of 25 square kilometers including Guodiqing, the Nanjing temple, Longjing bay, the gourd Chong, Xiangzhi ditch and seven other natural scenic spots.
