The cellar is located in the inner of Wuliangye alcohol factory in Yibin City of Sichuan province. It is an intact crypt style cellar of Ming Dynasty that was well preserved, with a history of over 600 years.
In Ming Dynasty, the wine harvested here is only served to the emperor; and is known as the Wuliangye wine now. The wine cellar is situated deep under the ground. There are 6 round cellars under the ground, which were all sealed up now and is only open for sightseeing.
