Chubu Buddhist Temple is located in northwest of Weilong, Lhasa, Tibet. It was built by Song Qinba, who is disciple of Gemage faction founder, Tabulajie in the reign of Chunxi 14th year of Nansong Dynasty. This black hat faction is the place where the Living Buddha was stationed where there were many disciples.
The Living Buddha of the black hat faction is known as "Dabao Buddha King" where the status is the highest. This temple also possessed the biggest strength. At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Gelu Faction gets the power and Gemageju Faction is forced to accept the Gelu Faction's jurisdiction. Dalai Lama dispatched a monk to live in this temple and to oversee it. There were massive classics as gifts for the Living Buddha during the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty. Now, the temple has been destroyed and the only remainder is one ancient Tibetan stele at the beginning of nine centuries during later period of Tulufan.
